Family Matters - is the Pastoral Care Arm of New Life Christian Church and endeavors to always be there for our Members. Based upon Matthew 25:34-40  and Galatians 6:10 Family Matters assists those of “The Household of Faith” here at New Life through Benevolences, Food Assistance, Hospital and Home Visitations, Auto Repairs, Transportation, Financial Planning, Life Skills Development and referrals to Community, State, and Federal Assistance only to name a few.  All assistance through Family Matters has been designed to function as a Short Term Answer while we work with those within our care for Long Term Solutions.

Web Design & Maintenance –

EG: The Web Design & Maintenance Department is a core aspect of the communication processes of New Life Christian Church. It is here that the “Outside World” gets its first view of New Life and all that we have to offer them. It is also here that the New Life “On Line Community” flourishes as we stay updated about current and coming events, and as we share our lives together through the exchange of our thoughts, family pictures, and resources.

Advertising / Publicity – Good things are happening at New Life Christian Church and we want the surrounding Community to be aware that they are Welcome to be a part of all that God is doing here within our midst. Through the use of both paid and non paid venues of communication such as the printed page, radio, TV, mailings, emails, texting, etc. we want people to know that at New Life Christian Church there is always something for everyone.

Discipleship – Part of the Mission of New Life Christian Church is to not only see people come to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, but also to help them to grow in their Christian Faith. Specific times of Instruction have been scheduled for the Teaching of God’s word here at New Life for individuals of all ages. Future plans are underway to construct an “On Line Campus” for the advancement of Christian Studies, and we are very excited about the Discipleship and Leadership Training opportunities this will present to us on a global scale in the coming days.

Hospitality – “Welcome Home” that’s how we want to make you feel when you walk through the doors of New Life Christian Church here in Douglasville GA. We’ll have the coffee and donuts ready for you before and after every main service and who knows who you’ll meet as you enjoy the musical atmosphere of our Atrium’s Coffee Shop.

Women’s Ministry - “GIRLFRIENDS UNLIMITED” is not only the name of the New Life Christian Church’s Women’s Ministry but it is about the only name that adequately describes what you’ll get when you attend one of our many fun filled events – Girl Friends. Not only do we host Bible Studies and Conferences but we also enjoy Movies, Coffee Times, Hobbying, and even Shopping together. There’s always room for another “Friend” at “Girlfriends Unlimited”.

Service Coordinator – Sometimes things can just come together by accident, but at New Life Christian Church we believe that if we will consistently plan for great things to happen then we can also consistently expect great things to happen as well. And “Great Things” are what you can expect to happen to you when you come through the doors to New Life because we have gone before you prayerfully and purposefully planning with you in mind.

Your “New Life Experience” I assure you will be a memorable one as several Departments and Individuals will be working together in a unified effort to help you and your loved ones experience God as you never have before.

Drama – The Performing Arts have shaped Culture and History for Centuries and here at New Life Christian Church they are being used to shape our understanding of God’s word and ways as never before. Come and enjoy a hearty “Belly Laugh” as the message is actively reinforced through practical and hilarious illustrations and applications for everyday life and living.

Kitchen Coordinator – It seems where ever you find Fellowship and Friends you will find Food and New Life Christian Church is no different. Infact, New Life seems to excel in offering Fellowship Opportunities and when this occurs our Kitchen Staff are their happiest. When the occasions are right you will find outstanding Culinary Delights being set before you all prepared from our State of the Art Kitchen which is Administrated and Coordinated through a Professional Trained and Degreed Chef with many years of practical experience.

Dude Share The Food – Answering Christ’s call to Feed The Hungry “Dude Share The Food” is feeding the less fortunate of the Atlanta GA. Inner City Area several times each and every week. Having been birthed out of the heart of God into the heart of one of New Life’s Congregational Members, Dude Share The Food has grown to become one of the Flag Ship Ministries of New Life and has provided Tens of Thousands of timely Meals and Articles of Clothing to those who are less fortunate since its inception.

Choir – Just when you didn’t think it could get any better New Life Christian Church has added a Contemporary Choir to its vast array of Bands, Teams, and Musical Talents. Ministering as Scheduled and on Special Occasions and Celebrations the New Life Choir “Ups The Ante” in the Praise and Worship Department. You’ll be blessed when they sing and even more blessed if you joined in on the great times to be had with the members of the New Life Church Choir.

Prayer -  Everything rises and falls on prayer and at New Life Christian Church we believe in undergirding everything that we do in prayer. Opportunities to pray present themselves every Week at the New Life Christian Church Facility during designated Times of Prayer and at all of our Regularly Scheduled Services. Video Production – Utilizing Modern Methods to help convey Timeless Spiritual Truths is just one of the things that the New Life Video Production Department is all about. This Department and its Gifted Individuals assist by serving as the Eyes to the Visions of New Life Christian Church as they skillfully capture and convey the ministry efforts and essence of New Life for all to see.

Power Points -  The Teaching of God’s Word comes alive on the Big Screen of New Life Christian Church as Pictures, Films, and Scriptures appear before the Congregation with the intent of enhancing the Worship Experience of all gathered. Relevant Materials have been carefully selected in order to remain current with both our Present Society and our Changing World Events. Believe me you’ll be impressed as you taste and see that the Lord is good here at New Life Christian Church.

Sound / Recording –  We want your worship experience here at New Life Christian Church to be as enjoyable as possible. In order to ensure this we have obtained and constructed a system for amplifying all that is taking place within our Main Sanctuary so that you won’t miss a thing. In addition, we have Trained Personnel who diligently apply themselves to get not only the best sound possible, but also the most professional recording of God’s Word possible so that you, your friends, or your family members can visit our Church Website and listen to your favorite messages at any time.

Lighting – Lighting helps to establish atmospheres just check it out next time you’re in your favorite Theatre or Restaurant. We are well aware of this at New Life and the Personnel on our Lighting Team have gone to great lengths to ensure that each Ministry and Fellowship Area of New Life Christian Church has been equipped with an atmosphere that had been “Dialed In” for success.

 Children’s Ministries – K.U.C. or “Kids Under Construction” is the Children’s Ministry of New Life Christian Church.    Designed to Minister to Children from Four Years of age up until the Fifth Grade, K.U.C. provides Age Appropriated Instruction in an Interactive Environment that utilizes Children’s Songs and Activities that are appealing to every age.                 With its own Praise and Worship Facility designed especially with Children in mind, proven Security Measures have been established and are observed when Receiving and Releasing your Child. In addition, all of our Children’s Workers have undergone an Extensive Criminal Background Check prior to being Trained to work with your Child.

Pre-School – M.M.O. or “Mothers Morning Out” is the Christian Preschool of New Life Christian Church. Infants as young as Six Weeks of Age to Toddlers up to Five Years of Age each gather in their respective Learning Centers designed with safety in mind. All activities are Age and Developmentally Appropriate in order to ensure that Progressive Foundational Skills and Gross Motor Skills are being developed. Nursery – The Nursery Ministry at New Life Christian Church is ready to receive your “Wee Ones” ages Newborn to Three Years of Age. The Children have been provided with their own Age Appropriated Areas to ensure their safety, and all Care Givers have undergone an extensive Criminal Background Check prior to being Trained to minister to your Child. You can ensure that your loved ones are in good hands while you enjoy the Main Service in the Sanctuary and as an added piece of mind your child will be assigned a I.D. Number that will discreetly appear upon the Large Screen in the Main Sanctuary should the Nursery / Toddler Ministry Department feel that you should be summoned for the comforting of your child. For your convenience the Nursery / Toddler Areas is open prior to every Service of the New Life Christian Church Congregation.

Grounds – The Lord has blessed New Life Christian Church with a gorgeous Facility situated on over a Dozen Acres of Prime Real Estate which is adjacent to a Major Interstate Highway (I-20), within the vicinity of a General Hospital, Colleges, and several New Housing Developments. With Grassed and Treed Areas, Flower Beds, Playground, Parking Lots, Easements and Drainage considerations there is a lot to keep us busy here at New Life Christian Church, but be assured that when you arrive we’ll always be striving to look our best for you.
